The information on this site was based on the Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Diagnosis and Treatment. Clinical Practice Guideline. The guideline was developed by an expert panel sponsored by the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR), an agency of the U.S. Public Health Service.
