Colonoscopy – Scan For Colon Cancer
| Many cancers can be detected early with screenings. A colonoscopy allows your doctor to actually see any unhealthy changes in your lower bowel. A Fecal Ocult Blood Test is done to detect the presence of blood in stool. A Digital Rectal Exam can detect growths or abnormal areas in your lower bowel. When done as recommended, these screenings are helpful in the early detection of colon cancer.
